American Farrier's Association 2023 Convention - Day 1!

Hi everyone! There are quite a few of the SNEFA crew out at convention this year in Reno and so I thought it would be good to bring you a daily update (or at least I'll try to do this daily) of the key insights, highlights and resources from the convention. As mentioned, there are quite a few of us out here, so I'm going to provide updates from what I hear the group is learning, seeing and experiencing:

Key Insights:

  • If you suffer from POTS, don't forget your sodium and electrolyte supplements! - Ok, probably not going to help you shoe a horse, but a good life lesson.

Key Highlights: Competition and Presentations

  • Jack Trainor participated in the Intermediate Bar Shoe competition

  • Ally LeGeyt participated in the Intermediate Bar Shoe competition

  • Mike Poparo co-presented on Cultural Exchange

Key Resources:

Jacob Butler, CJF, AWCF - Concise Client Communcation

Not only do you have to read the horse but you have to read the client!
